Looking at the second most common hit, I can only wonder why haven’t I heard of this great movement to end direct elections to the Senate?
@Yadontsayso This blog post was inspired by a post over at Making Light that observed on a growing movement to attack the 17th amendment as a way of attacking federalism and defending state’s rights.
It’s funny, but I really thought that there’d be much more buzz about the 22nd. It was all the talk in 1988, but I guess not so much during the Information Age.
Perhaps it ought to be noted that repealing the 18th amendment is not activism-based but historical.
